Ann Hayes is originally from
Louisiana. She now lives in Houston but she brought with her a skill for cooking great food. A member of Alief Baptist
Church, Ann usually has a hat on when she comes to Sunday Service. Being raised in a home where the women always wore hats and gloves to church, it is only
natural for Ann to follow that tradition. Ann said she only wears gloves occasionally in the wintertime now, but she continues to wear her hats
year-round. "A hat tops off the outfit", she said.
